Simis Kindergarten is starting tempera painting! They had finished some amazing shape collages and are now studying the artist Alexander Calder. Alexander Calder used a lot of geometric and organic shapes, mostly to make pictures about nature, so that is what Kinder will be doing. But for now they are practicing painting shapes and lines and learning how to use all of the materials associated with paint in the art room. They are off to a great start!!!
