3rd Grade Sikuli's

3rd Graders have been studying the Wixaritari people and their custom of creating Sikuli's aka God's Eyes.  The Wixaritari are from the Sierra Madre Mountains in Mexico and have been creating these stick weavings for centuries.  It's taken some patience but most of them were able to understand how to weave it before the break.  When we come back they will be working on their final one.  One class got a little ahead and started working on their final ones before the break and they have come out great!
